This Project is located in the Mijas Golf Valley.
The par 72 18-hole golf course has a total playing
length of 5,866 m. It was created according to United
States Golf Association (USGA) standards, with regard
to tees, bunkers, drainage and greens. The greens,
with an average area of more than 500 m2, are shaped
in such a way as to allow ball roll which is sure
to delight players. The fairways are extremely varied,
of ample width, and frank, as obstacles are visible
before taking a shot. Each hole has three, four
or five teeing areas, so that hole length can be
modified, and an optimum level of maintenance ensured.
The tees are raised in relation to the fall of the
ball, so that the spectacular flight of the ball
is visible at all times. There are magnificent views
of the sea and the mountains of La Cala de Mijas
on almost all the holes. The 300 m2 Clubhouse is
provisional. Here patrons will find the golf-shop,
dressing rooms, reception area and a restaurant
and terrace with stunning sea views.
El proyecto está en el Valle del Golf de
Mijas, entre el mar y la Sierra de Mijas. El campo
consta de 18 hoyos par 72 con una longitud de 5.866
m. En su construcción se han seguido las
normas de la United States Association (USGA) en
lo referente a tees, bunkers, drenajes y greens.
Los greens, con una superficie media superior a
los 500 m2, cuentan con un moldeo excepcional que
les proporciona un movimiento que supone un gran
atractivo para los jugadores. Las calles son muy
variadas, con gran amplitud en las caídas
de bola, y francas, mostrando los obstáculos
con anterioridad al golpeo de la bola. Tres, cuatro
o cinco plataformas de tees en cada hoyo, lo que
le confiere la posibilidad de jugar con las distancias,
y permite mantener un nivel de mantenimiento óptimo.
Los tees están en alto con respecto a la
caída de bola, obteniéndose así
una perfecta visualización del golpe desde
la salida y un vuelo de la bola más espectacular.
Extraordinarias vistas al mar y a los montes de
La Cala de Mijas en casi todos los hoyos. La Casa
Club de 300 m2, es provisional. En ella se encuentra
la tienda, los vestuarios, zona de recepción
y un restaurante con una terraza con espectaculares
vistas al mar.
