Terminal
T2 of the Malaga Airport, also called Pablo Ruiz Picasso, was designed
by the architecture studio of Ricardo Bofill. Its construction began
at the end of 1988 and the terminal was officially opened on 30th
November 1991.
The
building has two floors with separates entrances; the lower floor
is devoted to arrivals, while the upper floor- to departures. An
additional upper floor holds the shopping area and can be reached
from the restricted area. The basement can be reached from arrivals
hall and holds car rental services. The terminal contains 65 check-in
desks, 24 boarding gates, 14 airport walkways, and 8 baggage pick-up
belts.
In
English "llegadas" means arrivals.
