1. Our prices include:

* Unlimited mileage (Except on our Vans, where we include 300 Kms per day, any additional kilometre is charged at 0,25 €).
* Compulsory insurance with no excess (except in some special groups).
* Replacement car in case of accident.
* No charge for cancellations or changes.
* Airport service (Personal and direct service, do not use courtesy bus).
* Pay on arrival.
* Roadside assistance.
* Roads maps.

2. Our prices do not include:

* Petrol.
* Optional insurance.

3. Insurance conditions:

* Our prices include compulsory insurance and in addition no type of excess.

4. What is covered by SCDW (Optional insurance) but not by compulsory indurance:

For those eventualities we offer you SCDW insurance, which for a minimun cost allows you to travel with the certain guarantee of no unforeseen costs, covering you for:

* Punctures or any damage to the tyres or rims.
* Damage to the locks.
* Damage to the underside of the car.
* Misuse of the clutch.
* Damage to the windows or windscreen during the hire period.
* Theft of vehicle as a result of force entry.

5. SCDW price Transauto locations:

If you decide not to take the additional SCDW insurance, then we will hold the amount of 500 euros on your credit card as a guarantee to cover any possible damages to the vehicle and not covered under compulsory insurance.

6. What is not covered by any insurance:

* Damage to a third party or to the hire vehicle due to negligence or inappropriate driving.
* Loss of child seats.
* Loss or damage to aerials, jack, safety triangles and vests, windscreen wipers, petrol cap, luggage covers or any other fixed or mobile component of the vehicle.
* Damage to the engine through negligence.
* Theft of the vehicle with keys left in the ignition.
* Damage caused to the vehicle or to persons through driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
* Speeding and parking fines incurred during the hire period are the responsibility of the driver of the vehicle.
* Refuelling with the wrong type of petrol.
* Loss of keys.

7. Conditions relating to petrol:

* Transauto Rent a Car always endeavours to hand over the vehicle with the tank full and it should be returned with the tank empty, as there are no refunds.
* The cost of fuel varies depending on the model of vehicle, and that can be from 60 to 140 euros per tank.
* Only with hires of 3 days or under is the difference refunded. If the car is returned with less petrol than it had at the start, there will be a refuelling charge, and the difference minus this amount will be refunded.

8. Optional extras:

* Roof-racks: No
* Baby seat / Child seat: 2 euros per day.
* 2nd driver free, for additional driver 2,00 euros per day.
* Hire a GPS 5 euros per day, moor info.

9. Driving licence requirements:

All drivers must have been in possession of a full-valid driving licence for a minimum of one year. The minimum age of the driver is 21 and the maximum 79 years.
Only the following are considered to be valid driving licences in Spain:

* Those issued in accordance with current Spanish Legislation.
* Those issued by member states of the European Union in accordance with community regulations.
* Those issued by other countries or those of an international nature that are effectively recognised as valid permissions to drive in Spain.

10. Cancelling or changing your booking:

You can cancel or alter your booking as many times as is necessary, without incurring cancellation charges or any additional cost.

11. Guaranteed vehicle group:

When you book with Transauto Rent a Car, we guarantee the vehicle group requires, not the brand or model shown. If the vehicle group requested is not available, Transauto Rent a Car will provide you with a vehicle belonging to a higher category group for the same price.

12. Out of hours-service:

To pick up your hire vehicle outside our office hours (that is from 21:00 to 07:00), you will need to pay an additional 20 euros.

13. Free airport service:

Our service when you come to pick up your vehicle with Transauto in the airport terminal is offered freed of charge and personal direct service (do not use courtesy bus).

14. Roadside assistance:

Our prices also include roadside assistance 24 hours, 7 days per week.

15. Payment:

Payment is at the point of arrival, on collection of your vehicle, please note that we do not accept payment by debit card or in cash.

16. Restrictions:

* We only rent to circulate in the Autonomous Region of Andalucía and Gibraltar.
* Vehicles collected at any of our locations, cannot be taken out of mainland Spain not on any ferry between the Balearic Islands, Ceuta, Melilla and/or the mainland.

17. Documentation required on colletion of the vehicle:

Please remenber that on picking up the vehicle you must have with you; your passport or identity card, your driving licence, credit card and Transauto confirmation booking.

18. Data protection:

Our web-site has security measures in place to protect againts the loss, misuse or alteration of the information we have under control. Transauto Rent a Car does not sell or rent our any confidential indormation to third parties.
